News
Hi to everyone out there!
Yip! We’ve been quiet for a while. Winter has these nasty little surprises that sometimes sneaks up on you….. and sometimes “liberty” you from the side……
We lost friends that made a huge impact on our lives, we almost lost friends that had some nasty accidents no one expected. You never expect these do you?
Also; this winter was and still is very crappy and cold. It might be that old age plays a role in this?
I wouldn’t know, cause I’m expecting to live out my live alongside some beautiful crushing waves and pleasant weather. It can rain all day, because that water will most definitely be much cleaner than what we are drinking on this side.
I also believe that we will not drown in our own snot, or cough ourselves into pneumonia which was actually expected in the way I did the frozen butt with only boobs holding me between the tar and the car.
Spend some time on your GPS and look up the Boulevard pub alongside Beach Rd where Megaforce MCC - club resides in Amanzimtoti on the South Coast. If I still have the address right it will be at 136 Beach Rd. AN OPEN INVITE TO THE CLUB TO ALL. We spent our first night in the valley of a thousand hills with some wonderful new friends! If you come from this side of the valley it looks like everyone there is slightly doped up… they all move in slow motion….. it sort of reminds you that we live lofe in a very fast lane; which is really crap!!! We arrived in the middle of old Durb’s on the semi-finals of the soccer world cup. Imagine the whole year’s jols with the whole of Gauteng’s bikers arriving at once!
It was only a 2 day break-away, but a much needed one to say the least. The sand between your toes and the smile on my hubbies face made the long road worth the while. The best of it all is that everything is GREEN!!! Not Gauteng green but really green!!!
Of course we had to come back and face the music…
One moer of a power outage caused a delay in everything. A good friend had an accident. Fine!!!
You’d better get back to me!!! The boss has spoken!! I ended up in hospital with pneumonia for a week and everyone else got sick as well…
Well, that’s hopefully the end of my crappy news for now. At least the weather is starting to change so we can have a descent summer and get to more jols.
Lets see what happens moneywise.
This is me, letting you all know that we didn’t disappear off the face of the earth, just that stuff happens that you can’t foresee.
Eventually things will get better.
Remember that the phrase “rock bottom” really does mean something and that it does happen a lot in every person’s life.
Lets just get through it and go on.
Thanks again to Megaforce MCC East Coast and your hospitality. Without you, our short break wouldn’t be possible. Other forces that were involved are also in our little thank-you prayers.
Guys. If you don’t see your jol on the site; chuck it on please. There is a little space for everything around here. If the site doesn’t get updated every second; it won’t be because we don’t want you on here! Things just happens the way it wants to, as this site was built on the love for biking and the biking community as well as people willing to donate their little spare time to make this work. Where-ever we can be we will most definitely be there, making history come alive on the web.
For now, until we see each other again…
Safe biking!
Bernice
